Me and My Prima Off to Bora Bora!

I am one of those people who is always looking for the next great adventure. While many travelers look at places like Hawaii and the Caribbean when planning vacations, I am always on the hunt for something that is a bit more exciting. My cousin is an electrician in Fort Worth and she took me on the greatest trip of my life a few months ago.

We ended up going to Bora Bora and it was nothing like any place I have ever been to in my entire life. The first thing that caught my eyes was the color of the water when we headed to the beach. While I have seen some fairly nice beaches, none of them were as blue and sparkling as this one. I almost felt like I was looking at something that was on a painting.

The next thing that I fell in love with was the people. I feel like every person we came across was incredibly friendly. I have been to several locations where people are not too fond of tourists. This can make the trip a bit sour, so I am glad that this is not something that I experienced. My cousin regaled them will tales about some of her craziest clients and we all laughed like it was the funniest thing. I guess there is a bonus to being a great electrician in Fort Worth.

I loved all of the food we were offered when we were there. I am a very big seafood fan, so I felt like I was in some kind of foodie heaven. There was this one dish that consisted of fish marinated in coconut and lime. I believe it was called Poisson cru. That stuff was so good that I could have it each and every day. That is funny since I am one of those people who typically balk at the idea of eating ceviche or anything of the sort. This was a similar concept, but the flavors were out of this world.

Usually, I go to a place once and mark it off my list and head someplace else the next time I go on vacation. With that said, I think that I might have to go back to Bora Bora. I had a great time that I know cannot be rivaled by any other place out there.
